How it works
Start with your iPhone.
Record at night. Review in the morning. Facial geometry and available Apple Health data add context to your sound recordings.
Record the sounds of your night.
Start tracking before bed and place your iPhone nearby. DEEP NYX records nighttime sound and identifies snoring-like patterns.
Record for at least 30 minutes for analysis. In the morning, review when those sounds occurred and how the pattern changes across nights.
Why scan your face?
A one-time scan records the shape of your face and jaw. DEEP NYX uses that geometry as personal context alongside your nighttime sounds.
The scan captures the outside of your face. It does not show your internal airway or diagnose a condition. Facial scanning requires an iPhone with Face ID.
Face scan notice & consentHave an Apple Watch?
You don’t need one to use DEEP NYX. If you have a compatible watch, available Apple Health data can add information such as heart rate, respiratory rate and blood oxygen.
The data you see depends on your device, the measurements it records and the permissions you allow. Blood oxygen is not available on every watch.
